DAY 01 NEW YORK / JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
Depart New York (JFK) on your international South African Airways flight to Cape Town, via Johannesburg. From the moment you board your South African Airways flight you feel the warm and welcoming African hospitality in every detail of the world class service you are about to experience.

*Flying time from New York to Johannesburg is approximately 16 hours, non-stop. All served meals, drinks and snacks, and the in-flight entertainment system are offered on a complimentary basis.

DAY 02 ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG /CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport's Central Terminal Building, collect your luggage and then clear Customs and Immigration.

Re-check your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town where you will be met by an African Travel Inc. representative and transferred to The Table Bay Hotel.



ACCOMMODATIONS: THE TABLE BAY HOTEL - Luxury room
The Table Bay Hotel is set on the historic Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, against the stunning backdrop of the working harbor, Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. The air conditioned rooms feature en-suite bathrooms with separate shower and bath. Amenities include hairdryers, 24-hour in room dining, mini-bar, tea & coffee making facilities, safe, satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, and universal adaptor sockets. The Camissa Brasserie restaurant, named after the Khoisan word for Cape Town, offers diners a sensory experience. The Lounge offers a relaxed setting where you can enjoy breakfast, light meals and the Table Bay High Tea seven days a week. The Atlantic serves a breakfast buffet daily, while the Union Bar is the perfect spot to unwind and savor creative cocktails. During your stay, start your morning with a good work out at the gym, lounge around the heated outdoor swimming pool or, pamper yourself at the spa.



DAY 03 CAPE TOWN
Enjoy a day at leisure in the fascinating city of Cape Town. Sightseeing tours can be pre-arranged. Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway to a majestic continent. Cape Town offers a myriad things to do and places to see, whatever your tastes, inclinations or budget.

DAY 04 CAPE TOWN
Today is another day of leisure in Cape Town. Blessed with one of the most stunningly beautiful settings of any city in the world, Cape Town and its surrounding areas offer enough activities to keep you occupied for a long time.

DAY 05 CAPE TOWN
Spend your last day in Cape Town doing some last minute shopping or visit one of the many places of interest. There are historic and cultural sites, world-class museums and bustling markets, inviting beaches and lush gardens to visit, as well as great restaurants and wonderful shopping.

DAY 06 CAPE TOWN / JOHANNESBURG / HOEDSPRUIT / KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg.

On arrival at Johannesburg Airport, connect with your scheduled flight to Hoedspruit.

Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge in the Kapama Game Reserve. You will spend 3 nights at Kapama River Lodge including all meals and game drives daily.

Kapama Private Game reserve covers 12 000 hectares of undisturbed bush. The area supports a wide variety of animals including lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, and a large population of giraffe, impala, blue wildebeest and kudu.

After a quick freshen up, meet for high tea and set off on your first game drive. Remember to take:
A light sweater, insect repellent, your camera and binoculars!



ACCOMMODATIONS: KAPAMA RIVER LODGE - Spa suite
Kapama River Lodge is positioned along a bend of the seasonal Kapama River. Decorated to reflect old Africa, the air-conditioned suites feature full, en-suite bathrooms and private patios with uninterrupted views over the Big Five game reserve. Amenities include fans, hairdryers, mini-bar, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi internet access and tea/coffee making facilities. The central lodge area includes an enclosed dining area, where breakfasts and lunches are served and a bar and lounge with two large fireplaces. Evening meals are often enjoyed seated around a crackling fire in the Rhino Boma, where buffet meals showcase the pan-African dishes. The large rim-flow swimming pool is the perfect place to relax on a lazy afternoon. Activities at Kapama include morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles and guided bush walks, conducted by experienced rangers. All game viewing drives and walks are shared with fellow camp guests.

DAY 07 KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Enjoy an early morning game drive in this wildlife paradise. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool, or perhaps take a siesta to make up for the early morning wake-up call, or indulge in a spa treatment. In the late afternoon you will be taken on another unforgettable safari in the unspoilt African bush.

DAY 09 KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE / HOEDSPRUIT / JOHANNESBURG
After an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, return to the lodge for breakfast before you are transferred to Hoedspruit for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg.

On arrival in Johannesburg you will be transferred to the Da Vinci Hotel where you will spend the night.

DaVinci Hotel and Suites on Nelson Mandela Square is centrally located and features a stylish restaurant and bar. Spacious rooms are elegantly decorated and equipped with flat-screen TVs. Each has a minibar, satellite TV and a work desk. You can enjoy the convenience of luxurious shopping at the Legacy Corner Mall and Sandton City - an elevator trip away. (B)

DAY 10 JOHANNESBURG / VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred from your hotel to Johannesburg Airport for your South African Airways flight to Victoria Falls. You will be met by an African Travel Inc. representative in the arrivals hall and transferred to your lodge.

Straddling the borders of Zimbabwe and Zambia, the Victoria Falls captivates visitors from all over the world. The grandeur and beauty of this extraordinary natural phenomenon must be seen to be believed.



In the afternoon enjoy a tranquil sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The Zambezi offers outstanding natural, scenic beauty with a wide diversity of animal and bird life. One has a unique vantage point to spot large animals such as elephants, hippo and crocodiles, as this area lies within Zambezi National Park.

Enjoy dinner at the Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, which overlooks the waterhole at the lodge.



ACCOMMODATIONS: VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI LODGE - Standard room
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is set high on a plateau, which forms a natural boundary to the adjacent Zambezi National Park. The Majestic Victoria Falls is located just 2.5 miles from the lodge and the Victoria Falls Airport is 15 miles away. The lodge is west-facing with an onsite waterhole, which attracts a wide variety of game throughout the year, ensuring year-round stunning sunsets and magical views of unspoilt bushveld. Rising up around existing trees and natural landscape, the lodge prides itself on exceptional hospitality and food. The guest rooms are decorated with an African theme and are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, in-room safe, direct dial telephone and a private balcony with views of the bushveld and African sunsets. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service, which stops in Victoria Falls town, the craft market and the Falls. (BD)

DAY 11 VICTORIA FALLS
After breakfast go on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world. This walking safari takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the Cataracts, Livingstone's statue and a wide variety of birds and plants.



After returning to the lodge, enjoy an afternoon of leisure or arrange an optional tour.

This evening enjoy dinner at The Boma Restaurant, which offers a unique African experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa - coupled with the warmth and hospitality of the local people. Traditional customs such as local beer tasting and pre-dinner hand washing are observed, while the sights and sounds of the evening are accentuated by Ndebele performers who captivate diners with their colorful and energetic songs and dance. Steeped in mystery a witchdoctor adds a touch of drama and after-dinner guests are invited to while away the evening with the restaurant’s Sangoma - a traditional story teller - to learn more about the country’s folklore, culture and heritage.

DAY 12 VICTORIA FALLS / JOHANNESBURG / NEW YORK
After breakfast you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. (B)

Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will connect to your ongoing flight back to the USA on South African Airways.

*The flying time from Johannesburg to New York is approximately 16 hours, non-stop. Dinner and breakfast are served and snacks and drinks are available throughout the flight, all on a complimentary basis.

DAY 13 ARRIVE NEW YORK
