With its majestic Table Mountain backdrop, Cape Town is one of the most vibrant and beautiful cities in the world. The city is an eclectic mix of architectural styles, reflecting both the tastes of the past and more modern designs. Edwardian and Victorian buildings have been meticulously preserved, and many outstanding examples of Cape Dutch architecture are found in the city and its environs. Cobblestone streets, mosques and the flat-roofed pastel homes of the Malay Quarter enhance the cosmopolitan ambience, while the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront evokes images of the seafaring activities of the 19th century.

Additional facilities include laundry services, 24-hour room service, a designer spa, gym facilities and a pool with manicured gardens at neighboring Dock House Boutique Hotel & Spa.

Fill your time between game drives with visits to one of the awareness centers. The Ian Player Rhino Awareness Centre is an educational awakening about the plight of this rapidly depleting species.
Your visit to Shamwari will directly help rhino conservation. At African Travel Inc., http://africantravelinc.com/about/african-travel-cares, we are passionate about protecting and conserving vanishing wildlife and we will be donating $50 per couple towards the building of a rhino boma at Shamwari Game Reserve.
