DAY 01 NEW YORK / JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
Depart New York (JFK) on your international South African Airways flight to Cape Town, via Johannesburg. From the moment you board your South African Airways flight you feel the warm and welcoming African hospitality in every detail of the world class service you are about to experience.

*Flying time from New York to Johannesburg is approximately 16 hours, non-stop. All served meals, drinks and snacks, and the in-flight entertainment system are offered on a complimentary basis.

DAY 02 ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG /CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport's Central Terminal Building, collect your luggage and then clear Customs and Immigration.

Re-check your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town where you will be met by an African Travel Inc. representative and transferred to the award-winning 5-star Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa.

DAY 03 CAPE TOWN
Enjoy a day at leisure in the fascinating city of Cape Town. The Twelve Apostles Hotel offers a complimentary scheduled shuttle to and from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront between 08:00am and 08:00pm. Sightseeing tours can be pre-arranged.

Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway to a majestic continent. Cape Town offers a myriad things to do and places to see, whatever your tastes, inclinations or budget.

DAY 04 CAPE TOWN
Today is another day of leisure in Cape Town. Blessed with one of the most stunningly beautiful settings of any city in the world, Cape Town and its surrounding areas offer enough activities to keep you occupied for a long time. You can shop for everything from handcrafts such as native masks and pottery to dazzling tanzanite and diamonds; enjoy the hospitality and high standards of some of the world’s top hotels and restaurants; and learn about South Africa’s history at world-renowned museums and monuments.

DAY 05 CAPE TOWN
Spend your last day in Cape Town doing some last-minute shopping or visit one of the many places of interest.

DAY 06 CAPE TOWN /SKUKUZA / KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your scheduled flight to Skukuza.

Upon arrival at Skukuza Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge, where you will spend 3 nights, including all meals and game drives daily.

After a quick freshen up, meet for high tea and set off on your first game drive. Remember to take:
A light sweater, insect repellent, your camera and binoculars!

Lion Sands Tinga Lodge lies on the banks of the Sabie River in a private concession within the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The Lodge style is grand and spacious lending a feeling of historical opulence with its wooden viewing decks ending a few feet from the Sabie River. The main lodge is air-conditioned and offers access to satellite television, free Wi-Fi and a central pool for guests’ pleasure. The glass-fronted suites each have a private deck with a plunge pool. All the suites have ensuite bathrooms with showers inside and outdoors. The spacious beds are draped with mosquito netting and the room equipped with room fans, in-room safe, mini-bar, hairdryer and telephone. A host of adventures such as tracking the Big Five in open vehicles by day and at night accompanied by qualified game rangers and Shangaan trackers, and going off road for exceptional close wildlife encounters, make for a truly memorable experience. DAY 07 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
While on safari, activities include early morning and evening game drives in open Land Rovers with the opportunity to view Big Five - Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. The Sabie River has the highest recorded density of leopards in Africa, and one of the highest predator densities. The Sabie River is also said to have the richest biodiversity of any South African river, with many endangered and rare species (mammals, birds, reptiles and plants) being found in the area.



After a morning game drive return to the lodge, relax around the swimming pool or take a siesta to make up for the early morning wake-up call. In the late afternoon you will be taken on another safari where you will have the opportunity to see the gorgeous sunset and the nocturnal animals.

DAY 08 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Another day to participate in morning and afternoon game drives as well as bush walks in this wildlife paradise.

DAY 09 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK /SKUKUZA / JOHANNESBURG
Depart on an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, followed by breakfast. After a transfer to Skukuza you will fly to Johannesburg.

On arrival in Johannesburg you will be transferred to the Michelangelo Hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 10 JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA / VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred from your hotel to Johannesburg Airport for your South African Airways flight to Victoria Falls.

On arrival in Victoria Falls, collect your luggage and then clear Immigration and Customs. You will be met by a Victoria Falls River Lodge representative in the arrivals hall and transferred to your lodge.

Each day you will enjoy a game activity - either morning or afternoon game drive in the Zambezi National Park. Head out in a game-viewer to explore the 150,000 acres that make up the Zambezi National Park. You can also enjoy bird watching in the birdwatchers paradise with more than 400 species having been recorded in the area, and have access to the Tree Hide. The lodge offers daily transfers to Victoria Falls town.



ACCOMMODATIONS: VICTORIA FALLS RIVER LODGE - Luxury tent
Victoria Falls River Lodge is a private game lodge located inside the Zambezi National Park. Nestled amongst the trees on the peaceful banks of the mighty Zambezi River, the lodge is perfectly located to offer guests a vast array of activities. After a day full of excitement, guests can relax, refresh and recharge in the river-side lounge, take a stroll around the lodge or unwind alongside the pool. The main lodge has an open plan design and has been positioned just back from the river – in view of the elephants’ natural route. Sit back and relax under the shade of the thatched roof, as the elephants graze along the river line. Built on raised decks, the luxurious tents are well spaced and air-conditioned. Each tent has been tastefully decorated in earthy tones with a comfortable seating area and indoor and outdoor showers, freestanding bath, as well as a private viewing deck where one can sit and watch the hippos wallowing. DAY 11 VICTORIA FALLS
After breakfast enjoy a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world. This tour takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the Cataracts, Livingstone's statue and a wide variety of birds and plants.



You have the option of a sunrise or sunset river cruise. In the early morning, watch from the comfort of Victoria Falls River Lodge’s private river cruiser as the world awakes and the sun’s first ray’s skip and dance across the shimmering surface of the mighty Zambezi. Or in the evening sit back and let the gentle ebb and flow of the Zambezi lull and relax you. Join in on Mother Nature’s Happiest Hour by sipping on a sun-downer while watching her creatures big and small coming to the water’s edge to lap at its liquid life under the molten skies.

After returning to the lodge, enjoy an inspiring and unique Southern African meal served in the distinctive thatched riverside dining area.

DAY 12 VICTORIA FALLS / JOHANNESBURG / NEW YORK
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. (B)
